Our Services
China Law & Society
An ongoing editorial initiative to collect, publish, and disseminate Chinese legal and social science scholarship — in English, for readers everywhere.
About the Collection
China Law & Society is a curated, English-language collection built on HeinOnline in partnership with William S. Hein & Co. It brings together work that would otherwise remain difficult for international readers to find: Chinese statutes and regulations, leading Chinese academic journals, and authoritative monographs by Chinese scholars.
The purpose is straightforward. Chinese scholarship should be readable, citable, and discoverable wherever research is done — and anyone studying Chinese law or society should be able to follow its development directly, in English, from primary and authoritative sources rather than through second-hand summaries.
